Woodstock was a 3 day music festival held in Bethel, New York in 1969. It was one of the biggest rock festivals of all time and was a cultural touchstone of the 60′s. An estimated 100,000 people attended this event, and it was listed among the Rolling Stone’s 50 Moments That Changed The Hiistory of Rock and Roll. 32 acts performed over this weekend long event, including Jefferson Airplane, The Who, and Jimi Hendrix(12).
